THE ARCHIVE OF EDUCATED HEARTS: SHEDINBURGH REPLAY

EVENT INFORMATION

THE ARCHIVE OF EDUCATED HEARTS

Written and performed by Casey Jay Andrews

An award-winning production crafted from verbatim stories of families facing breast cancer, written & performed by Casey Jay Andrews.

Scrawled diary entries & dog-eared photo albums unfold to reveal a delicate glimpse into the fragments of absolute joy and incomprehensible heartbreak that make up a lifetime. Told through honest & personal verbatim accounts of kindness, courage, friendship and family ‘THE ARCHIVE OF EDUCATED HEARTS’ is about the legacies we leave in the lives of the people we love.

It debuted at the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe in a second hand garden shed at the back of the Pleasance Courtyard.

Winner of The Scotsman’s Fringe First Award (2018), Best Theatre Award (Adelaide fringe, 2019), featured in The Scotsman’s “10 MUST-SEE THEATRE SHOWS” of the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and "TOP 10 RETURNING SHOWS" of the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
