SEARCH PARTY: SHEDINBURGH REPLAY
Written and performed by Inua Ellams
Award-winning poet and playwright Inua Ellams (BARBER SHOP CHRONICLES, THE HALF-GOD OF RAINFALL, THREE SISTERS) brings his special, audience-led poetry event to Shedinburgh.
Pick a word, any word. Prompted by audience suggestions, Inua Ellams searches through his extensive archive of work and perform a reactive and spontaneous selection.
Inua Ellams’ first play, THE 14TH TALE, won a Fringe First before transferring to London’s National Theatre and touring nationally and internationally. He was awarded the Liberty Human Rights Award for his one-man show, AN EVENING WITH AN IMMIGRANT, and THE BARBER SHOP CHRONICLES played to 46,000 at the Roundhouse after two sell-out runs at the National Theatre and a world tour. Across his work, Inua mixes the old with the new: traditional African storytelling with contemporary poetry, with an emphasis on themes of identity, displacement and destiny.

HOW TO SELECT YOUR TICKETS
Tickets start from £4, however we’re kindly asking you to consider paying what you normally would for a night at the Fringe. There are several options for you to choose from.
If there is more than one person watching on the same device, please also consider making a payment per person when you purchase your ticket. If you want tickets for people to watch on separate devices, you need to buy the appropriate number of single tickets.
50% of the profits from ticket sales will go directly into the pockets of the artists who performed in the shed last year and 50% of the profits will go directly to the SHED LOAD OF FUTURE FUND a fund to support new artists to bring their work to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. So however much you pay, you’ll be supporting artists now and in the future.
