MY ARM: SHEDINBURGH REPLAY

EVENT INFORMATION

MY ARM

Written and performed by Tim Crouch

Tim Crouch's first play, MY ARM, is a teasingly profound, award-winning story about a boy who puts one arm above his head and never takes it down. It opened in Edinburgh in 2003 and has toured on and off ever since.

A rare chance to see the starting point for a unique body of performance work that includes such ground-breaking plays as AN OAK TREE, THE AUTHOR, ADLER & GIBB AND TOTAL IMMEDIATE COLLECTIVE IMMINENT TERRESTRIAL SALVATION.

“…utterly beguiling…Crouch uses the power of suggestion to create a gloriously improbable yet terribly believable piece about how the boy with his arm in the air transforms the world around him. A small gem.” ★★★★ Evening Standard

“Crouch is the most engaging of performers, and he is actually exploring on stage the nature of art and performance itself” ★★★★ The Guardian

Winner of a 2004 Prix Italia.

HOW TO SELECT YOUR TICKETS

Tickets start from £4, however we’re kindly asking you to consider paying what you normally would for a night at the Fringe. There are several options for you to choose from.

If there is more than one person watching on the same device, please also consider making a payment per person when you purchase your ticket. If you want tickets for people to watch on separate devices, you need to buy the appropriate number of single tickets.

50% of the profits from ticket sales will go directly into the pockets of the artists who performed in the shed last year and 50% of the profits will go directly to the SHED LOAD OF FUTURE FUND a fund to support new artists to bring their work to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. So however much you pay, you’ll be supporting artists now and in the future.
