BACK OF THE HEAD WITH A BRICK: SHEDINBURGH REPLAY
BACK OF THE HEAD WITH A BRICK
Written and performed by Sean Mahoney
This is a story about how punishing and forgiving London can be. From the mutual friends behind cafe counters, to old school friends you bump into at McDonalds, realising the class clown is now a dad. It’s about falling in love with someone that will take you away from the only life you’ve ever known, and learning that a part of growing up is about moving on.
Taking place during one long day in London, Back of the Head with a Brick is a dark comedy about wanting to love as much you can, express yourself as much as you’re able, while keeping defence mechanisms that helped you survive intact. Sometimes growing up can mean moving on.
Running Time: 1hr
Age Guidance: 14+
TW: Suicide, depression, violent imagery
HOW TO SELECT YOUR TICKETS
Tickets start from £4, however we’re kindly asking you to consider paying what you normally would for a night at the Fringe. There are several options for you to choose from.
If there is more than one person watching on the same device, please also consider making a payment per person when you purchase your ticket. If you want tickets for people to watch on separate devices, you need to buy the appropriate number of single tickets.
50% of the profits from ticket sales will go directly into the pockets of the artists who performed in the shed last year and 50% of the profits will go directly to the SHED LOAD OF FUTURE FUND a fund to support new artists to bring their work to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. So however much you pay, you’ll be supporting artists now and in the future.
